Born and raised in Luzerne County, Jamie grew up in Lake-Lehman school district prior to moving to Wilkes-Barre where he attended Kistler Elementary and Meyers Junior/Senior High School until he was 13 years old. At 13 years of age, he visited his father in Anchorage, Alaska and decided to stay and finish
high school at Bartlett High School in 1993. After high school, Jamie attended Whitworth College in Spokane, Washington. From his youth he was highly influenced by community service and credits people within his community who volunteered as coaches for developing in him many of the traits that
have shaped his success.

Jamie started a sales career in 1995 with American Remodeling. At just 19 years of age, he quickly rose as the top performer in sales for the company. After several years in the home improvement sector, Jamie opted for a new challenge in the medical device industry. During his 12-year tenure Jamie was
instrumental in building the company from 3 million in sales to over 30 million while continuously taking on more responsibility – rising to the level of Vice President, Sales. His passion for delivering on commitments to customers, teamwork and trust with his co-workers, and a tremendous work ethic inspired by his experiences were central to success, but Jamie feels the real key was “a dedicated team committed to a vision united by common goals.”

In 2005 Jamie married his wife, Nancy. Nancy has worked in the financial lending industry for 20 plus years and does volunteer work, most recently serving as past treasurer of the PTO at Ross Elementary School.  Jamie and Nancy have worked as a team together in order to provide for their family and they reside in Sweet Valley, Pennsylvania. They have two children, Logan (16) who is a Junior at Lake-Lehman High School and Ava (10) who is in fourth grade and attends Ross Elementary School.  Logan is an excellent student, holds a 20 hour per week job since he was 14 years old and he is an accomplished bowler.  Ava is an excellent student and she is a cheerleader for the Lake-Lehman Junior Knights as well as a basketball player for the Lake-Lehman Youth Basketball Organization.

During the last 11 years, Jamie has served as President of the Lake-Lehman Junior Knights (7 years), and Secretary of the Wyoming Valley Junior Football Conference (4 years). Three years ago, he co-founded and then became President of the Citizens Advisory of Pennsylvania which is a parent’s rights
organization that encompasses all of Pennsylvania. The organization provides parents with information and resources to help them when dealing with issues and advocating for rights in their school districts. In the last 3 years, Jamie has been to well over 2 dozen school districts statewide to help parents fight
for their rights, but his focus has been primarily within Luzerne County. He has also testified in Washington DC over the ballot shortage in Luzerne County from the 2022 election debacle in the county.

Jamie is currently a small business owner in Luzerne County and his company has one of the best reputations for customer service and quality of work. He understands the importance of small business and supports them first, ahead of the big box stores or amazon. Small businesses contribute to the communities where they reside and support the local youth sports organizations, local charities and other local causes, and he feels it is our duty to support them in return. Jamie’s experiences in business, life, community involvement and parents’ rights combined with his fiscally responsible and socially conservative values make him an exceptional candidate to represent the people of Pennsylvania’s 117th District as their State Representative.
